STATE CHAMPIONS CLASS AA: Newton CLASS A: Fredonia CLASS B: Halstead
World War II broke out during this season, so the fate of the Hayden basketball team was of little concern during this period. For the record, none of the WW II teams won very many games and after this season the Hayden priests attempted to cover the coaching in addition to normal duties.
