1936-37                                    Return to Year-by-Year        HOME

STATE CHAMPIONS  CLASS A: Newton  CLASS B: Sacred Heart-Salina

Maurice Holloway was the top player on this team. Vince Langan only coached one year and I can't find any information on where he went after his short stay at Hayden. Hayden got to play Topeka High again with not much better results as the Trojans pounded Hayden 49-8.

Pictured below (left to right): Maurice Holloway, Jack Caldwell, COACH Vince Langan, Jack Brennan & James Parry.
