1934-35                                Return to Year-by-Year                      HOME

STATE CHAMPIONS  CLASS A: Chanute  CLASS B: Sharon

New coach Ed Vossman enjoyed a much better football season than he did with this basketball schedule. This team did get it's first win in a KSHSAA post season game (Hiawatha 3/15). Reward for this victory was the first ever meeting with Topeka High. That loss stood as worst ever until January 11, 2002 when Emporia defeated Hayden 100-47.
